Mining leaves useful drops scattered across ledges and corners. Orbit Gauntlet pulls existing dropped items toward you for a few seconds, making cleanup a deliberate action instead of another lap around the dig.
Finish the dig without another lap
Activate the gauntlet beside scattered resources and watch existing drops gather toward you. Its six-block reach is useful around a small excavation, where items would otherwise send you back around ledges and corners.
The pull lasts six seconds. Pickup still happens normally, so make room in your inventory first. The supplied version gathers every dropped item; a material filter in the editor turns it into a more selective mining tool.
Craft it
- Orbit Gauntlet: 1 × gold ingot, 2 × copper ingot, 1 × amethyst shard, 1 × stick.
Open the editable project below and choose Crafting Path to check each recipe’s exact arrangement.
Before you try it
- The gauntlet moves existing items; it does not generate resources or increase stack limits.
- Normal pickup rules and inventory capacity still apply. An attraction field does not guarantee that every drop fits in your inventory.
- Use it in your own world or an agreed shared area: the empty filter does not distinguish your drops from another player's.
Each activation costs one amethyst shard in Survival, with a three-second cooldown. Creative use is free.
Download the beta JAR from Files. Use Minecraft Java 26.1.2, Fabric Loader 0.19.5, Fabric API 0.155.3+26.1.2 and Java 25. Put the mod and Fabric API in the instance’s mods folder; multiplayer needs both on the server and joining clients.
Checked on Windows in a separate test world. Other devices and live multiplayer have not been verified.
Make it yours
Select Diamond and Raw iron in Resource filter to make a focused mining tool. Reducing the radius from six to three makes its reach easier to judge in a cramped mine.
Open Orbit Gauntlet in the constructor to change the settings and build your own version. Save its editable project if you want to keep working later.
