A Snowy Village Start in Java 26.2

A snowy village near the starting area, coastal views beside its houses, and a longer southern trip to dramatic icebergs.

Use seed 20260928100 in Minecraft Java Edition 26.2 for a snowy starting area with a village close enough to make a useful first landmark. Spruce-roofed houses, snow-covered paths and coastal water sit together in the same landscape: you do not need to make a long journey just to find the shore.

Recreate this world

Choose Singleplayer → Create New World, select your preferred game mode and enter 20260928100 in the seed field. Keep the normal world type and structure generation enabled. Use Java 26.2 with vanilla terrain generation; world-generation mods and datapacks can change the result.

The starting area is near X −960, Z −384. Your exact landing can vary slightly, so note your coordinates before leaving. Take your time on the snowy slopes: there are open drops, and a gentler way around is often worth looking for.

Find the snowy village

Head toward X −912, Z −528, roughly 150 blocks north-northeast of the starting area. Follow the surface rather than digging straight toward the marker. Paths and buildings sit at different heights, with open drops between parts of the village.

The village gives you several clear reference points for choosing a home site: houses and paths on the slope, trees nearby, and water visible beyond the buildings. Look around before placing a permanent base. Building just outside the existing paths gives you room to expand without blocking the village layout.

Take a longer trip for the iceberg view

For a different view of the same world, explore south toward X −800, Z 1150. Snowy spruce terrain meets a stony shore and frozen ocean here, with tall icebergs beyond the water. This particular southern viewpoint is about 1,540 blocks from world spawn; that distance does not describe the nearest coast, which is already visible beside the village.

Mark your return route and carry supplies before making the longer trip. The overhead pictures help you read the landscape; on foot, leave room to go around steep slopes and find a comfortable crossing.

A separate southern viewpoint shows snowy spruce trees and larger icebergs, about 1,540 blocks from world spawn.

A cabin above the village or a small dock beside the water would fit this landscape well. Start with a short path back to the village, then expand once you have explored the surrounding slopes.

Start your world.
